The Pottstown Cluster

First I have the most amazing daughter.  And she made me aware I was baby sitting this Sat and not next Sat which is really really lucky for me. 

I went to a fund raiser last night for the Pottstown Cluster.  They are trying to raise a million dollars to redo a new building they just purchased.  They are the most amazing people.  I was blessed to sit next to a beautiful woman named Charlene.  She has just finished her second round with breast cancer.  What an amazing woman.  Every thing was so humbling.  a wow night for me.

Friday at last

Well yesterday just was not my day .  You would think that the way the day went it was the Friday the 13th.  As it were today is and I am looking for the end of the day already. 

On anther note I am the luckies woman since I have a daughter but what really is icing on the cake is some of  her friends are like daughters to me and I get to enjoy them too.  It is so nice to have daughters.  I love my sons and think of their wives as my daughters too so I am truly bless woman that have multiplied her daughters lol.  God would be so proud.  Does that all make sense?

Okay so anyway we have an anniversary this past week and the happy couple will be traveling this weekend to celebrate.  I get the children.  I am planning a trip to the strausburg train station on Sat. and the movies on Sunday.  What a great weekend I have planned.  I am so excited. 

Tuesday morning and I am tired

I don't understand why I am so tired but atlas I am.  I read today that my beautiful niece just gave birth to a beautiful girl. Of course all my nieces are beautifull and their children exceptional.. it comes from the Moutinho stock well okay maybe from the Stebbins stock or the Roy stock or the Lodge stock.  I guess I will end while I can.  We are a beautiful family with beautiful children and exceptional grandchildren. 

I am doing some grant research.  We have a building we are trying to rehab for the use in serving low income families of Pottstown and the local area.  Any ideas or suggestions are always welcomed.

Monday Blues

Oh I spent the best time ever with my little ones in Dover.  They are so cute and cuddly I just love being able to be around them.  It is sad not to wake up to them.  They actually get up at the same time as I do. :-)   The house is beautiful made so only by the hard work of my hard working children.  Most of the floors are hard wood and look amazing.  They will need to spend some time on some of them but over all they got a great floor look.  Throw rugs should be the way of the home. 
I received a great welcome home from my two in Pottsgrove and I missed them so much.  I am going to spend the up comming weekend with them and a trip to the trains might just be in my future. 

Friday Friday

Well my beautiful Dover family is now proud owners of a home.  I am taking a ride there tomorrow to help with the clean up or watch the children.  Not sure which but I am sooo happy for them.  Not much going on for me this day.  I am getting ready to go to lunch and then home.  I have an eventful evening plan.  Popcorn and a movie.  I will have to stop at the red box to see what is available.

Thursday hot and humid

I met with some people from the Cluster in Pottstown.  The nicest people.  So committed to the families of Pottstown.  Their website is http://www.pottstowncluster.org/  and they have so much going on there.  I am hoping to become a part of the organization and love the idea it is based in my hometown area.

It is kind of a slow week but this weekend I will be meeting up with my Dover family.  I am so excited.  They have just purchased a home in that area and I now have two more grandchildren to spoil.  Yea!!!!! lol
I am hoping to get down there on Sunday to help.  I can't wait.
  
My daughter will be celebrating her anniversary and I will take the boys next weekend.  Hmmm maybe number 3??   I am thinking we may go visit the trains in Strausburg, they always love that. 

Wed and I am half way through the week

  I was working with a group that repaired homes one Saturday a month.  They had so many people who wanted to help you would not be needed on certain Months. I kind of lost my drive and the reason for volunteering.   I recently picked up the desire to serve so I googled volunteers needed.  I am meeting with some people tonight who serve an organization that helps our local people. I was kind of excited since it is a group of churches that formed the organization so it is faith based.  They have recently acquired a building and they are fixing it up.  I thought with my backround in construction I might be able to help somewhere.  They need a treasurer so that is why I am meeting with this group tonight.  I think they have so many areas I would be able to help in that I am sure there will be someplace I can fit it.  When you work all day it is sometimes difficult to find places to volunteer.  Well that at least seems to be my problem.  Hopefully this group will have someplace I can help.
I recently went back to visit with my sister.  She is the most amazing woman.  I could spend days with her listening to her view on different subjects.  We got into some of our religious thinkings.  She was so thought provoking that she left me with things to think about for a very long time.  I hope we get to visit again.  I so enjoyed her. 

Family Family Family

Well I happen on the History channel last night.  They had some guys called pickers who just travel around the US looking for places to pick through.  Then they had a show about a pawn shop.  Oh my goodness what about some amazing things people still have hanging around the house.  With the pickers they just find really old stuff to resell at a profit.  Who would have guessed stop signs were worth that much?  I had to wonder what happens to the person who didn't see it and failed to stop.  But on the pawn shop this kid came in with an very old piece of our American Heritage.  Wow I couldn't believe someone had that just hanging around the house.  The kid was kind of young which makes me wonder if maybe he didn't find it at his parents house and decided to trade it in.  Wow and he  gave it away at half the value.  Shark week was interesting.  Actually the things my young grandson makes me watch are always interestig.  Things I would probably never had seen if not for him.  I just love spending this time with him and sooooo amazed he wants to spend the time with me. I have a six year old who pops in and out.  He carries with him amazing bits and pieces of information.  Who would have guessed. lol  But again that he pops over to see me is pretty amazing and I thanks God he blesses me so much each day.  Well having snacks may not hurt me.

Monday blues

My weekend belong to the grandchildren.  We went to see Cats and Dogs the revenge of someone.  We decided to see it in 3D and had a great time.  Of course we started with breakfast at Friendly's and ended at the flea market.  It seems the old ps needed some part to allow the boys to play the games together.  Of course where else would one find old part but at the flea market.  Zerns did not disappoint us and the boys are very happy.  I can't wait to have a play day in Dover.
